Workshop in relational methods, together with rooms in transition
In November 2024, we had the opportunity to work in a dismantled former restaurant, where the organization NÄTET was in the process of transforming the space into a fish shop, a meeting place, and a cultural center for independent cultural life. The framework for the workshop was to collaboratively explore rooms in transition and to investigate formats for an atmospheric and relational cinema. We also brought with us five short films made by students from the bachelor’s program in film.
During the workshop, the students sculpted and choreographed an atmospheric film experience using light, projectors, and materials found in the former restaurant spaces.The workshop ended with a public event where students from the two programs met for the first time.
